We have a Robotics and Virtual Reality area where you will find modern equipment for physical and cognitive rehabilitation. An area for reeducation of walking with structures, parallel bars, a standing table, and stairs; in addition to a large gym.

Service Areas
We have two check-ups rooms for physiatry care, disorders, or any injury that affects the patient. This is evaluated by our specialists with SkyBox examinations, the latest equipment used to perform electromyography.
1. Hydrotherapy
In our Hydrotherapy area, we have the latest equipment technology and comfortable facilities that include:
- Two physical therapy care offices.
- Dressing rooms.

We have six patient care rooms in the area of Physiotherapy, equipped with specialized stretchers and an ASTAR. ASTAR is an equipment for electrotherapy, laser, ultrasound, and magnetotherapy, improving the effectiveness of each patient’s session.

Diego Tyromotion is a robotic rehabilitation device for upper extremities in patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions. This uses virtual and three-dimensional reality to achieve a better function in the movements of the upper limbs, improves cognitive capacity while motivating our patients.
Neurorehabilitation of upper, distal, and proximal extremities by a robot and movement sensors.
It has a balance platform called TYMO and a therapy table, where it is also possible to perform evaluations and measurements with more specific results for better treatment.
Theratrainer equipment is a technological device widely used by the elderly, which allows preventing falls as well as re-educate balance, proprioception, strengthen and achieve postural control, work on muscle strength in upper limbs, prevent muscle contractures in the lower ones, and train in the activities of daily life.
The principle of training repetitive motor patterns associated with the increase in the quality of movement, facilitates motor relearning. The possibilities of movement provide sensory, motor, and cognitive stimuli.

Digitrainer is a hand and finger motor and sensory therapy device. It mobilizes the fingers with limited degrees of movement and helps treat high muscle tone.

Dispositivo médico basado en realidad virtual, diseñado para apoyar la rehabilitación motora de pacientes con trastornos neuromotor. Esta terapia es efectiva y motivadora, ya que el paciente puede moverse de forma natural, sin guantes, ni visores.
Los equipos Thera-Trainer son dispositivos tecnológicos ampliamente adoptados por las personas mayores, los cuales permiten prevenir las caídas así como reeducar el equilibrio, la propiocepción, fortalecer y lograr el control postural, trabajar la fuerza muscular en los miembros superiores, prevenir las contracturas musculares en los inferiores y entrenar en las actividades de la vida diaria.
El principio de entrenamiento de patrones motores repetitivos, asociado al incremento en la calidad del movimiento, facilita el reaprendizaje motor. Las posibilidades de movimiento proporcionan estímulos sensoriales, motores y cognitivos.
Estos equipos cuentan con un software atractivo para el desarrollo de las actividades evaluativas y terapéuticas, y se indican para los ancianos que puedan caminar con algún tipo de ayuda pero que disponen de poca fuerza y resistencia. Permiten ejercitar las piernas y el tronco
Cama robótica hospitalaria, enfocada en la recuperación funcional de los pacientes con lesiones cerebrales o afectación de la movilidad. Es el primer sistema robótico para la rehabilitación que permite ejecutar una terapia centrada en el paciente e intensiva desde la fase aguda y subaguda.

DigiTrainer es un dispositivo de terapia motora y sensorial de manos y dedos. Mobiliza los dedos con limitados grados de movimiento y ayuda a tratar un alto tono muscular.
Su principio activo es único: se basa en una combinación de movimiento, presión y vibración. La vibración promueve la percepción y circulación de la sangre de manos y dedos, además el Digitrainer estira y masajea cada dedo mediante un movimiento oscilante mientras los fija con una suave presión.
Presenta muchos beneficios terapeuticos como lo son:
- Rehabilitación de secuencias de movimiento natural, Terapia para disfunciones de la mano.
- Disminución del tono muscular (reduce la espasticidad).

El Motomed se emplea en la neurología sobre todo para la regulación del tono, la movilización así como para el mantenimiento y reformación de la musculatura posibilitando un movimiento diario, suave y seguro para los pacientes.
En The Panama Clinic ponemos a disposición el Motomed RECK LETTO 2: Es un aparato que compensa la falta de movimientos en pacientes de encamamiento prolongado. El mismo cuenta con un motor que provee movimientos pasivos, y mantiene la movilidad de las articulaciones de miembros superiores e inferiores, relajando la musculatura y ayudando al metabolismo del organismo del paciente.
Motomed VIVA 2: Este equipo es utilizado en pacientes con lesión medular, inclusive una parálisis completa. Dispone de electroestimulación, formando contracciones musculares que provocan el movimiento, desarrollando un entrenamiento activo. Robótica y Electroterapia
4. Área de Gimnasio:
Ponemos a su disposición un amplio y seguro gymnasio conformado por dos caminadoras, dos bicicletas, pesas y otros implementos para la rehabilitación física del paciente.

5. Área de Reeducación de la Marcha:
Nuestra área de Reeducación de la Marcha esta estructurada con barras paralelas, mesa de bipedestación y escaleras, abarcando todos los procedimientos para dicha rehabilitación.
4. Gym Area:
We count with a large and safe gym consisting of two treadmills, two bicycles, exercise weights, and other implements for the patient’s physical rehabilitation.
5. Relearning Walking Area:
